Tracy oversees the communications program for USApple, which includes directing communications advocacy efforts to support the association’s government affairs program and raising consumer awareness of the apple industry via proactive media relations programs, as well as integrated social/digital campaigns.  In addition, she oversees USApple’s crisis management program and the association’s signature Apples4Ed grant program.

Tracy has significant experience as a communications leader in agriculture, including her work at the National Grange, National Corn Growers Association, National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, and 11 years at the American Farm Bureau Federation.  Prior to coming to USApple in 2018, she directed communication advocacy efforts for the Edison Electric Institute and the Retirement Security Initiative. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & Government from the University of Charleston and a Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University.
