  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1/3 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon dark rum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 apple, cored and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup dried apple slices

Directions

  1. Heat a fondue pot until warm.
  2. Heat the whipping cream in a medium saucepan over low heat until bubbles form along the sides of the pan. Add the chocolate and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted. Stir in the mascarpone cheese and butter. When the mixture is smooth add the rum and vanilla.
